Swiss trust law: Parliament gives final mandate to the government
The Motion on the introduction of a Swiss substantive trust law (originally introduced as Parliamentary Initiative in 2016) was approved today by 123 votes against 58. Now the Swiss government is mandated to present a Swiss trust law. Since a group of experts is already working on an in depth feasibility analysis as per the Postulate Merlini, expected for 2019, it is reasonable to believe that this legislative project will advance reasonably fast.
