One of the very earliest trust practitioners in Switzerland (since 1976), Stuart Clements qualified both as an auditor and as an industrial economist in Scotland.

Stuart Clements worked with Fides in Lucerne and in 1987 established his own medium sized trust company, which he sold on his retirement.

Today, Stuart Clements devotes almost all his business activities to SATC (as head of the Secretariat and Secretary to the Advisory Board) and to STEP, where he is Secretary and heads the administration office in Zug, responsible for STEP Centres in Lugano, Vaduz, Lucerne/Zug and Zurich.
